Income Tax Return Form (ITRF)

What is ITRF in Malaysia?

The Income Tax Return Form (ITRF) is the collection of income tax return forms provided by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM).

Every individual, including residents or non-residents, along with businesses that are liable to income tax, is required to declare their income to IRBM.

The taxpayer is responsible for submitting Income Tax Return Form (ITRF) and making income tax payments yearly before the due date.

What are the types of Income Tax Return Forms in Malaysia?

  • Form E – Employer
  • Form EA – Employees, prepared by employers
  • Form BE – Resident Individual (Who does not carry on any business)
  • Form B – Resident Individual (Who carries on business)
  • Form P – Partnership
  • Form BT – Resident Individual (Knowledge worker / Expert worker)
  • Form M – Non-Resident Individual
  • Form MT – Non-Resident Individual (Knowledge worker)
  • Form TP – Deceased Personโ€™s Estate
  • Form TF – Association
  • Form TJ – Hindu Joint Family
  • Form C – Company
  • Form PT – Limited Liability Partnership
  • Form TC – Unit Trust / Property Trust
  • Form C1 – Co-operative Society
  • Form TA – Trust Body
  • Form TR – Real Estate Investment Trust / Property Trust Fund
