Employment Heroโs set up services are based on the Customer following Employment Heroโs methodology that has been designed to ensure an effective and efficient set up. This methodology utilises configuration and procedures designed and based on the utilisation of templates. The methodology also requires the Customer to play a key role throughout the set up project and take on ownership of specific tasks – therefore it is essential that the resources provided by the Customer are appropriately skilled both in its business practices and data as well as being competent with computers and necessary software applications. |

Implementation Services in Standard scope |
Managed Payroll implementation includes
- Configuration of the platform, including:
- Setting up business settings such as UEN, Statutory setting, Payment settings payroll schedules and employing entities.
- Creating standard pay categories, leave categories, Leave allowance types, upto 3 standard rule builds and cost centres.
- Setting up employee master๏ฌle and recurring earnings & deductions
- Opening Balances Lumpsum import*
- Scenario Testing on Processing scenarios to con๏ฌrm system con๏ฌguration
- One training session for an Admin user (max 4hrs)
- Assistance during one Test pay run
- Assistance during ๏ฌrst live payrun
- Setup Admin Users & Employee users
- Trigger employee user access invite upon Customer acceptance

- For the avoidance of doubt, anything not included in the Implementation Services in Standard scope section.
- Any additional services or out of scope services required may incur an additional hourly fee. EH reserves the right to determine which out of scope services can be provided.

Customer obligations |
- Parallel Run Testing โ to ensure that the results meet customer needs and expectations within the limitation of the software
- Creation of Chart of Accounts / Opening Balancing
- Enabling electronic lodgement to Government bodies
- If Time & Attendance is applicable then it is the customerโs obligation to set up the Clock Me In system if this option is to be undertaken.
- If Rostering is applicable, then the customer will need to set it up themselves following an EH-provided webinar.
- Integrations with third-party applications (e.g. NoahFace, Skedulo) is the responsibility of the customer.
- Training managers and sta๏ฌ on how to use the system is the responsibility of the customer.
- For a launch to be successful, customers need to be actively engaged during the entire implementation.

Term |
- Between 1 month to 3 months, from Kicko๏ฌ call, subject to receiving complete data and scoping documents in accordance with Time Line.

Standard Fee |
Flat fee MYR 3000.00. For a HC>70 per HC fee MYR 40 in addition to ๏ฌat fee. EH reserves the right to bill for estimated or actual number of employees whichever is the greatest. Where the estimated number of employees is less than the actual number of employees, the difference will be billed per employee at the end of the service. The Fee is subject to applicable Promotions/Offers/Discounts that may apply and any assumptions (see Assumptions and exclusions below). |
Additional Fees |
- Any additional Services outside of scope will be charged at MYR 750 per hour and EH has sole discretion to determine whether additional services are chargeable.
- Access to the Implementation team beyond the Term will incur additional fees based on hourly rates.

Payment Terms |
Payment of implementation fees will be raised via invoice with 14 day payment terms. Invoices are charged to the payment method on file on the invoice due date.Please note that failure to make payment within the Payment Terms invalidates any/all discounts that may be offered. This is to ensure your place in our schedule and allows us to allocate resources to begin work. |
Assumptions and exclusions |
- For a launch to be successful, customers need to be actively engaged during the entire implementation.
- Provide Data in the Required Format specific to our Data Requirements (see below)
- The standard price assumes launch and activation to your employees at one time. We do not offer a phased rollout.
- One Employment Hero account can connect to only 1 payroll account. If you have multiple entities and more than 1 payroll account, you may need multiple Employment Hero accounts. Please speak to your product specialist about how best to set this up for your organisation

Timeframes and Scope |
- Payroll implementation project is 4-12 weeks from completion of the kicko๏ฌ call.
- The implementation discount granted is based on achieving a โgo-liveโ date within this time frame. A โgo liveโ that goes beyond the agreed timeline may incur an additional cost.
- * Go-live means you have signed o๏ฌ on your project.

FAQ |
What determines the number of accounts to be implemented?
One Employment Hero (HR) account can connect to only 1 payroll account. If you have multiple entities and more than 1 payroll account, you may need multiple Employment Hero (HR) accounts. One Payroll account can connect to only 1 account for journal purpose (e.g. Xero, MYOB, Reckon). If you have multiple accounts on your accounting platform, you may need multiple Payroll accounts. Please speak to your product specialist about how best to set this up for your organisation.
What determines the duration of my implementation?

What happens if I donโt provide my data by the cut o๏ฌ date?
Our implementations team will always endeavour to get your account up and running as quickly and accurately as possible. If your data has not been provided on time your estimated milestone delivery date may change. |
